After many weeks of waiting we finally received our draft plans this week. So exciting..

We are ecstatic but there is a few changes to be made. We will know every nook and cranny of the house before the building even starts.
We have taken a huge leap of faith as there is no display home for this design so we have had the tape measure out trying to visualise how big the rooms will be and how they will look finished. I think the consensus is all the rooms will be big. Too big??? Never!!!
We also heard this week that the land should be registered middle of March so not long now...fingers crossed

DeleteThanks for following :) The HT is 6.1m x 3.7m. It will be more of a games room than a HT. I love that it is tucked away at the side of the house and we can just close the doors and not look at the mess. The room started smaller but we pushed the wall to the living room back about 1.5m because we thought a bigger games room was more important.
The dressing room is ridiculous I know - the ensuite started larger but we decided to remove the bath and make it smaller. Turns out the credit for the bath was about the same as fitting out the dressing room...go figure! Of course I will have to money for clothes by the time we finish
